The Korea Meteorological Administration said that the low pressure will cause up to 100mm of rain in the mountains of Jeju from tonight (25th) to tomorrow, 20 to 60mm on the southern coast, and 10 to 40mm inland.
In addition, cold air will come down from the north after the low pressure, and the temperature will drop significantly the morning after tomorrow, and a lot of snow will accumulate throughout the interior.
The day after tomorrow, it is expected to snow up to 15cm in Gangwon-do, up to 10cm in northeastern Gyeonggi-do, and 1 to 5cm in Seoul and other metropolitan areas.
A heavy snow warning is issued when new snow is expected to accumulate for more than 5cm in 24 hours, and when the warning is more than 20cm and in mountainous areas more than 30cm.
