SSG re-signs 'Hit King' Eredia for 2.5 billion won...Samsung also re-signs with Reyes and Diaz

Foreign player Eredia, who ranked No. 1 in batting average in the 2024 season of professional baseball, has decided to join SSG next season.

SSG said it has renewed its contract with Eredia for up to $1.8 million and about 2.5 billion won in our money, including an annual salary of $1.6 million and an option of $200,000.

Herredia topped the list this season with a batting average of .360, and also finished second with 195 hits.

Samsung has also re-signed foreign players Reyes and Diaz.

Reyes, who was named playoff MVP, agreed to receive up to $1.2 million and about 1.6 billion won, while Diaz agreed to $900,000 and 1.2 billion won.
