The Korea e-Sports Association announced today that it will start voting for this year's "Stars" by fans themselves, ahead of the "2024 Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" in December.
The "2024 E-Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" is a place to honor and commemorate athletes who have played an active role in domestic and foreign e-sports competitions during the year, hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
There are three categories of induction: "Heroes," which selects players who meet the criteria for selection of inductees among active players, "Honors," which selects permanent inductees among retired players, and "Stars," which is selected by fan voting among players who have played at domestic and international competitions.
The fan vote "Stars," which selects the best player in esports this year, has 18 candidates and will run until the 3rd.
The "2024 Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" will be held at the Esports Hall of Fame on the 19th. At the same time, the "ESportsman's Night" will be held to honor the hard work of domestic esports industry officials to present the "Project Award," "Event of the Year Award" and "Team of the Year Award."
