The National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts held a budget adjustment subcommittee and reviewed the key issues, such as the presidential office and the police's budget for special activities, but failed to reach a conclusion due to differences between the ruling and opposition parties.

Earlier, the government set aside 8.251 billion won for the presidential office and the national security office and 3.16 billion won for the National Police Agency in next year's budget, but it was completely cut by the opposition party in charge of the standing committee.

In addition, the opposition party responded to the government's request for the restoration of the original plan by maintaining its stance on the reduction, and Park Jung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, put all of these agendas on hold.

In addition, related budgets such as the National Police Agency's broadcasting lighting vehicles and safety fences were put on hold, including 2.65 billion won and 4.8 trillion won in government reserves.

The Budget Subcommittee of the Budget and Accounts Committee has completed the first reduction review of the budget, which has been preliminary reviewed by 17 standing committees so far, and will begin an increase review for the remaining period until the 28th.
