Kwon wrote on his SNS, saying that the acquittal is likely to be overturned by the higher court as the court is making different judgments, including the judge in charge of perjury in September last year.
Regarding the court's judgment that the perjury teacher was not intentional, Kwon said that representative Lee's sending of a summary of his argument itself is nothing more than confirming what to testify, and pointed out that the court's ruling does not conform to legal principles and common sense.
He also criticized that the Democratic Party of Korea welcomed the decision by changing its attitude of threatening the judiciary by 180 degrees, but that it mistook the ruling as a "light of salvation," saying that there is no political future for Lee even if the first trial of the Public Official Election Act is confirmed earlier.
