Police and firefighters jointly identify fire at Hwaseong Motel where '22 people were injured'

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, and the Korea Electric Safety Corporation began a joint inspection of the motel fire in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, where 22 people were injured from 10 a.m. today (26th).

The fire department believes that the fire started on the bed at the checkout counter on the first floor of the motel, and plans to identify the exact cause of the fire through identification.

A total of 22 people were injured, including three seriously injured in a fire at a four-story motel in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 10 p.m. last night (25th).
