A man and a woman in their 50s were found stabbed in a vehicle that stopped after colliding a guardrail in front of the Donggwangsan toll booth in Gwangju at around 11:30 a.m. today (26th).
The two were found by a driver of a vehicle passing by and taken to a hospital, but the man was eventually killed and the woman was also reported to be in critical condition.
Police said both were stabbed several times and a weapon was found in the car, and there was no third party involved.
Accordingly, we have requested an autopsy of the dead man and are investigating the exact circumstances based on the black box inside the vehicle.
