The government recently said it expressed regret over Japan's attitude during the talks between Korea and Japan over the controversial memorial ceremony for Korean workers at Sado Mine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a text notice sent to the press corps today (26th) that it contacted the Japanese Embassy in Korea yesterday (25th) to convey this position.

From this standpoint, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it urged them to communicate closely so that the problem could no longer be turned into an unnecessary conflict, but could be managed as an individual case.
