According to KB Real Estate statistics, the ratio of jeonse to apartment sales prices nationwide this month was 67.7%, the highest in 24 months since 67.78% in November 2022.
Analysts say that the recent loan regulations have resulted in a significant contraction in sales prices compared to jeonse prices.
The jeonse price rate fell to 65.8% last summer when jeonse prices were weak in the aftermath of the interest rate hike, but since then, jeonse prices have risen stronger than sales prices, and jeonse prices have also been on the rise for more than a year.
According to this month's apartment lease rate by region, Seoul recorded 54.1%, the metropolitan area recorded 62.37%, and the provinces except metropolitan cities recorded 76.13%.
