The People's Power expressed its willingness to actively support the establishment of the Gyeongsangbuk-do National Medical University.

Chung Tae-joo, president of the National University of Andong, emphasized the need to establish a national medical school in North Gyeongsang Province, saying that the local medical problem cannot be solved only by increasing the number of existing medical schools.

Jeollanam-do then said that the establishment of a national medical school has progressed, but we have been alienated, and pointed out that the medical reform excluding the medical gap in Gyeongbuk has a problem with its legitimacy.

Lee Chul-woo, governor of Gyeongbuk Province, also said, "Why do you have to take a taxi on KTX when you go to the hospital?" adding, "Since the hospital has been built, it is enough if the government only grants permission to students."

In response, Han Dong-hoon said, "We will strongly support and support at the party level, and let's change the reality that there is no proper general hospital in an area where many people live together and have long been the center of the land."

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho also said, "As the demand for medical care in North Gyeongsang Province has become accustomed to being digested mainly in Daegu hospitals, the establishment of a university hospital, which is Andong's long-cherished project, has not been established," and that he will help realize it.
