The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced today (27th) that it will hold an opening ceremony at Mungyeong Station with more than 250 officials, including Vice Minister Baek Won-guk, attending and conducting a test drive.
The Chungju-Mungyeong section of the Jungbu Inland Line, which will be opened this time, is a 39.2km new route connecting Chungju Station and Mungyeong Station, and the project cost of KRW 1.3386 trillion.
The KTX Jungbu Inland Line is connected to the north Kyeonggang Line, so consumers can travel from Pangyo, Seongnam City to Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang Province, from the 30th.
