"If you give birth to a teenager, you should let me go to college".The Mega Study Chairman's Remarks Controversy

The controversy is growing as Son Joo-eun, chairman of Mega Study Group, a famous private education company in Korea, made inappropriate remarks in a lecture to high school students.

Chairman Sohn gave a special lecture to 500 male and female students in the first and second grades of high school at a religious facility in Daegu on the 22nd.

At the meeting, Chairman Sohn said, "If a teenager gives birth, he should be allowed to go to college on a special basis."Or, it turned out that students who couldn't study were compared to prostitution women.

After the special lecture, President Son reportedly apologized to the school through Mega Study as students and parents protested.

Mega Study Group said it would apologize if there were any expressions that students felt uncomfortable with, contrary to their intentions, in the process of talking about changes in consciousness on the issue of low birth rate and anecdotes of students who changed their future through study.
