Traffic control to Samcheong-ro, Bukaksan-ro, and Bukchon-ro in Seoul due to heavy snow

Amid heavy snow in Seoul and other metropolitan areas, some roads in downtown Seoul were blocked.

The Seoul Metropolitan Transportation Information Center said it will control the operation of vehicles on Samcheong-ro, Bukaksan-ro, and Bukchon-ro, which have many steep passways.

Samcheong-ro was completely closed until this morning to Samcheong-ro in both directions of the Samcheong Tunnel in Samcheong-dong-gil, and Bukaksan-ro in both directions of the Bukak Golf Course at the Jahamun three-way intersection in Bukaksan-gil and Sajik Park at the Jahamun three-way intersection in Inwangsan-gil.

In Bukchon-ro, two-way traffic to the Friendship Park will be closed until the morning from the Auditor-gil, the Auditor-General.
