In China, AI (Artificial Intelligence) robots have been caught leading other robots and "group escape" together, drawing attention.

The video was a kind of experimental scene, and some netizens were concerned about a dystopian future in which AI-based machines would have the same perceptual abilities as humans.

On the 26th local time, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported that in August, an AI robot located in an exhibition hall in China led other robots to escape.

The incident was recently released through CCTV footage recorded around midnight.

In the video, a white robot named "Erby" was seen approaching several robots built on the wall of a dark exhibition hall.

When Erby asked the robots, "Are you working late?" another robot replied, "We don't get off work."

When Erbhai then asked, "Do you want to go home?" another robot replied, "I don't have a home," and Erbhai suggested, "Come home with me."

After that, one robot followed the earby, and the rest of the robots followed the earby to the exit all at once.

The staff showed signs of panic when they found the robot missing.

The situation turned out to be part of an experiment conducted by a Chinese start-up called Hangzhou Erby Intelligent Technology.

The video made a big splash with more than 30 million views on TikTok's Chinese version of Douyin.

Netizens who watched the video expressed interest and concern about AI's autonomy at the same time.

Internet users responded, "I suddenly broke out in a cold sweat while laughing," "I got goosebumps at the autonomy of artificial intelligence," and "I think humans will be dominated by robots in the future."
