The CCTV footage released by SBS on the 26th showed a dog kindergarten company in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province abusing a dog entrusted by customers.
In the video, a man was seen driving a dog into a corner and punching it in the back of his head several times.
In addition, the dog was lifted by pulling the leash upward, and the strangled dog struggled with pain.
The company is known to take care of or educate dogs, and an average of 70 dogs are entrusted a day. Their abuse was revealed when the company accidentally captured the assault on a training video sent to a customer.
As a result, other customers have also started to check the damage, and in the process, it was revealed that the company filled up a device that electrically shocks dogs to prevent them from barking on their necks without consulting with customers.
The victim's dog owner said, "When I tried to do a leash, I entered the dog house and trembled as if I was shaking a bush."
An employee who worked for the company in the past revealed that CEO A assaulted his dog, saying it was a training method. He then claimed that the representative explained that when the dog barks, blood is concentrated and it is difficult to breathe, so he should put pressure on the airways before putting it down.
The kindergarten representative A and one teacher admitted the assault in a handwritten apology, and the victim owners filed a complaint with the police against A and others on animal cruelty charges.
Police are checking the damage based on CCTV analysis.
