The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Gyeonggi-do Province, and five local governments in the first new city announced the selection of 36,000 units and 13 districts in the leading reconstruction districts based on the evaluation over the past month.
By new city, Bundang has 10,948 units in three areas, including Yangji Village and Kumho, Ilsan has 8,912 units in three areas, including Baeksong Village Complex 1, and Pyeongchon has 5,927 units and 4,620 units in two areas, respectively.
In addition, in consideration of the diversification of housing types and the local government's request for additional leading districts, two row houses and 1,400 houses in Bundang and Ilsan will be designated and managed at the same level as leading districts.
The government plans to fully support the reconstruction process of the leading district with the goal of moving in in 2030, and it has decided to systematically cooperate with local governments and related organizations for school problems and financial support in the complex.
