The Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office has decided not to ask Kim Jung-sook, who refused to investigate a reference witness in connection with the alleged bribery of former President Moon Jae In.

Earlier, the prosecution tried to investigate the background of financial support for her daughter, Moon Da-hye, but Kim said she would not respond to the investigation, saying that the reference person is not legally obligated to attend.

Asked about the method of investigating former President Moon, the prosecution declined to elaborate, saying, "There is no specific investigation, schedule, or method so far."

Prosecutors are investigating former President Moon's old son-in-law, suspecting that about 200 million won, including the salary he received from a Thai airline owned by former lawmaker Lee Sang-jik, was actually a bribe to former President Moon.
