The Korea Communications Commission held a seminar today (27th) at Gwanhun Club in Insa-dong, Seoul to discuss the sustainability of the broadcasting and communication contents ecosystem with the Korean Media Policy Association, the Korean Broadcasting Association, and the Korean Press Association.
At this seminar, discussions were held on policy measures in response to market changes in which one content was distributed both on broadcast and online.
Kim Tae-kyu, acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, said he expects the seminar to present a policy milestone given the need for policies to solve complex problems intertwined with the conflicting environment of the broadcasting and telecommunications markets.
In addition, the KCC added that it will continue to ease regulations on broadcast advertisements and programming to secure stable financial resources for broadcast content production.
