Prosecutors Seize and Search People's Power Over 'Suspected Intervention in Nomination'

Prosecutors investigating the "suspected involvement in the nomination" have raided the People's Power Party and the National Assembly's office.

The Changwon District Prosecutors' Office today (27th) raided the organizing bureau of the Central Headquarters of the People's Power in Yeouido, Seoul.

The prosecution also raided the office of the party's Planning and Coordination Bureau in the National Assembly.

It is to secure data related to nomination in seven districts, including Changwon Uichang, in the 2022 parliamentary by-elections.

The prosecution confirmed the data that could be confirmed in the search and seizure, and decided to receive the necessary data in the form of voluntary submission.
