Former lieutenant governor Lee's appeal was scheduled to be held at the Suwon High Court the afternoon after tomorrow (29th), but the court changed the sentencing date to the 19th of next month.
The court explained that the sentence is usually delayed if the court needs an additional hearing period or takes more time to write a ruling.
Earlier, in the second trial of former lieutenant governor Lee, the prosecution demanded 12 years in prison and a fine of 1 billion won for bribery and violation of the Political Fund Act, and three years in prison for violation of the Foreign Exchange Act.
