The prosecution also raided the Office of the Planning and Coordination Bureau of the People's Power in the National Assembly.

This is to secure data related to nomination in seven districts, including Changwon Uichang, where the 2022 parliamentary by-elections took place.

The prosecution is said to have checked the audit data of the party and documents related to the nomination.

In addition, messenger data of party representatives and party officials at the time were also identified through the party's computer team.

Prosecutors are reportedly looking closely at the nomination process back in 2022.

The prosecution, which raided the power of the people, is expected to conduct an investigation into officials of the nomination management committee at the time.

In the meantime, the court rejected the arrest suit filed by Myung Tae-kyun.

As a result, Myung's arrest period has been extended from the previous three days of the following month to five days.

The prosecution continued to investigate other suspicions, including "suspected employment solicitation."

Following the summoning of administrative personnel from the presidential office, the investigation was conducted by calling in a wealthy man from Andong, the party to the suspicion of handing over 100 million won in July 2021.
