At around 2:20 p.m. yesterday (27th), a water tank on the roof of a nearby building was blown away by strong winds over the road in Yeonghwa-dong, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

Fortunately, no one was injured, and the fire brigade dispatched cleared the damaged water tank to prevent secondary damage.

Earlier, a large iron plate blown by the wind hit a telephone pole in Buan, and a telephone pole was also reported to have been broken in Sinyeong-dong, Iksan.

Strong wind warnings are in place in Gunsan and other areas on the west coast of Jeollabuk-do as of 3 p.m.
