Heavy snow warnings are in place in Jincheon, Eumseong, Chungju, and Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province.

In addition, heavy snow warnings have been issued to the remaining seven cities and counties, including Cheongju and Goesan.

As of 6 a.m., the cumulative snowfall was 36cm in Jincheon Satellite Center, 24.5cm in Eumseong Geummuang, and 17.3cm in Chungju Noeun.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that more than 5 to 10cm of snow will fall in the central and northern regions of North Chungcheong Province, and more than 15cm in many places.
