When the U.N. Security Council asked if the U.S. had sent North Korean troops to Russia, the North Korean side indirectly admitted.

Accordingly, the Ukrainian ambassador had a war of nerves with the North, and Hwang Joon-guk, the ambassador to the United Nations, urged the suspension of military cooperation between North Korea and Russia and withdrawal of troops.

At the UN Security Council meeting, the U.S. representative asks a question as if determined.

[Robert Wood / U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations] It's a very simple question. You will want a concise answer in this meeting. Did North Korea send troops to Russia?]

Although it was not caught on camera, the North Korean representative seemed to be embarrassed at the scene.

North Korea indirectly admitted to sending troops, saying, "The comprehensive strategic partnership treaty between North Korea and Russia, including military cooperation, conforms to international law and the United Nations Charter."

[Kim Sung / North Korean Ambassador to the United Nations] Therefore, North Korea will faithfully maintain its obligations under the North Korea-Russia treaty.]

Hwang Joon-guk, ambassador to the United Nations, urged the North to stop military cooperation with Russia and withdraw immediately, saying, "North Korean troops are engaged and are grasping information on casualties."
