Democratic Party of Korea's group chat room, "Please reject Shin Young-dae's arrest agreement."

In the group messenger chat room of lawmakers from the Democratic Party of Korea, a message appealing for the rejection of the bill to arrest Shin Young-dae ahead of a vote in the National Assembly plenary session was found.

Rep. Lee Won-taek, chairman of the Jeonbuk Provincial Party, asked in a chat room yesterday (27th) to reject the arrest motion so that Rep. Shin, who was falsely accused of being a victim of political oppression of the previous government, can prove and explain his innocence and clear him of unfair accusation.

Rep. Shin, who has been with student and civic movements since college and has watched them for 37 years, said he was more honest than anyone else and was a fight against injustice, claiming that he was sure of his innocence.
