President Yoon Suk Yeol has said he will greatly strengthen support for the entire process of childbirth, treatment and rearing of premature babies.President

Yoon said at an on-site meeting of premature babies held at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital today (28th), "Since almost 10% of newborns are premature, we will first create an environment where mothers and babies can receive treatment with confidence."

Specifically, it explained that it will set up maternal and child medical centers that provide integrated medical care step by step in the center and area to expand government support so that sufficient manpower can be secured, and establish a mother and child medical network connected by hotlines between medical institutions to quickly respond to emergencies for pregnant women.President

Yoon said he would further expand customized support for premature babies, and that he would drastically raise the limit on medical expenses currently supported up to 10 million won.
