The Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Korea Railroad Corporation, and the Seoul Housing and Urban Innovation Corporation signed a joint agreement to develop Yongsan International Business District.
The Yongsan International Business District is 495,000 square meters and plans to develop the Yongsan Maintenance Window area as a global business hub and spend 3.57 trillion won to improve the wide-area transportation network such as railroads and intersections.
In addition, 13,000 residential facilities will be supplied with the goal of moving in in 2030, and a complex cultural space will be built linking the international business district and Yongsan Park with the concert hall, exhibition hall, and library.
