According to a survey conducted by the Korea Health Promotion Development Institute on 'health investment awareness' of 2,000 adults in August,
31.9% of
respondents said they were satisfied with their health level, and 55.4% said they tried to live a healthy life.
In addition, on average, 44% of them invest 150,000 won per month for health and the largest amount of money invested in diet.
The average healthy life expectancy was 76.8 years, up 6.3 years from the healthy life expectancy of 70.5 years at the time of the 2021 survey.
58.9% of the reasons why it is difficult to practice health care were 'because of weak will and lazy', 51.1% were 'because of too busy work and daily life', and 44.8% were 'because of economic burden'.
