"Academic adjustment of 1,835 schools in 6 cities and provinces including Gyeonggi-do due to heavy snowfall"

Due to the heavy snow, 1,835 schools in six cities and provinces nationwide have adjusted classes, including closures.

According to the damage status compiled by the Ministry of Education, 1,283 schools in Gyeonggi-do decided to close, and two schools each in Seoul, Incheon, and Chungbuk.

It was also found that 544 schools adjusted their school hours or school hours.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or serious facility damage at the school, but 122 schools reported minor facility damage, including falling trees or damaging awnings.
