Nearly 50cm of snow bombs fell in Seoul and other inland areas in two days, and some analysts said it was a record-breaking snowfall that could fall once in 200 years.

The snow in Seoul was so unusual that it was the third-highest in all winter.

The city center turned into a white winter kingdom.

From the first snow, it exceeded 10cm and recorded an unprecedented November snow.

Over the past night, more than 10cm of heavy snow was added, creating an even more unusual situation.

The official snowfall observed in Songwol-dong, Seoul for two days is 28.6cm,

This is the third-largest amount ever in all winters, not just in November.

Suwon received as much as 43 centimeters of snow, which was recorded as the largest amount of snow since weather observation began in 1964.

Yongin (Cheoin-gu) was 47.5cm, with nearly 50cm of snow accumulated, and snow was well over 40cm in southern Gyeonggi Province and southern Seoul, including 41.6cm in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, 43.7cm in Gwangju (Songjeong-dong), 43.7cm in Gunpo, and 43.1cm in Geumjeong-dong.

Experts analyzed that snow in the central inland, not on the coast, is the frequency of snow once in 200 years.

Fortunately, this all-time heavy snow seems to have overcome the crisis.

As the snow gradually stopped, all heavy snow warnings in the inland were lifted, and snow and rain are expected to continue in Chungcheong, Honam, and Jeju Island later in the week.

However, between tomorrow afternoon and night, 1 to 5cm of snow is expected as the west coast's snow flows inland a little more by the wind.

It's not a lot, but you need to be prepared for icy roads in the cold.

Between Sunday and Monday, when December begins, it can be affected by rain or snow clouds again, so the start of winter is likely to start with bad weather.
