[Anchor]
For the first time in Korea, a factory that mass-produces a new drug, "meskechnone," has been detected.

Manufacturing was taking place in a farmhouse in a deserted place, and unlike the conventional method of smuggling and selling drugs, it turned out that the drug organization directly produced it.

Police search a deserted farmhouse house.

Various machines and powders are scattered, and the bag is full of purple pills.

In a room made to prevent sound from leaking out, there are machines used to make pills.

It is a manufacturing plant of Meskechnone, designated as a new drug by the United Nations last year, and it was the first to be detected in Korea.

Mr. A in his 20s ran the facility.

After being instructed by someone to manufacture meskechnone, we rented a farmhouse in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, and started making it last September.

We made pills of materials supplied in a non-face-to-face manner and distributed them on the market under our own brand with famous drama patterns.

Unlike conventional drug organizations that resell drugs smuggled from abroad, they have started to produce them themselves.

[Jung Won-dae / Busan Metropolitan Police Agency's head of drug crime investigation: (Drugs) received raw materials directly from overseas and manufactured them by setting up a manufacturing plant on a hill, so unlike other channels, they were selling them at a very low price. So I felt the seriousness of the situation...]

Thanks to the police's early detection of the sale, the amount released on the market was only 6,000 won and 180 million won in market price.

It turns out that the organization also manufactured and sold synthetic hemp at its home in Seoul.

It distributed 96 million won worth of hemp raw materials smuggled from Germany by mixing them with e-cigarette liquids.

The raw materials seized from two drug factories are worth 7.7 billion won at the market price.

Police have arrested 27 people, including drug manufacturing and sales, arrested 9 people, and are tracking their superiors who told them how to manufacture new drugs.
