Members of the group Newzins expressed their willingness to protect the team name "Newzins."

Newzins held an emergency press conference on the termination of its exclusive contract at 8:30 p.m. today (28th) in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

On this day, Hye-in said, "I don't think I can use the Newzins name for the time being. But it doesn't change that the five of us are New Jeans, and I don't want to give up the name New Jeans," he said.

"It may feel like it's just a name and trademark issue for someone, but it's not that simple for us," he said. "We'll try to secure the right to the name Newgins fully because it's a name that contains everything from the first time the five of us met."
