Russian President Vladimir Putin praised U.S. President-elect Donald Trump for being intelligent and experienced.
Putin, who is on a state visit to Kazakhstan, said at a press conference on the 28th local time, when asked how the Biden administration's permission to use Ukraine's long-range missiles will affect U.S.-Russia relations, "President-elect Trump will find a solution."
At the same time, he argued that "it may be a ruse to make it harder for Trump," citing the Biden administration's increased and expanded arms aid to Ukraine.
Putin also pointed out that "completely anti-civilized methods were used," referring to the assassination attempt against Trump during the presidential election.
"I don't think Trump is safe even now," he added.
