The agency BH Entertainment announced today (29th) that Joo Jong-hyuk has confirmed his appearance in the Japanese TBS drama "Slow Train."
'Slow Train' is a home drama about three siblings who lost their parents and grandmother at once in a car accident, depicting Kamakura and Busan, Korea, and is set to air on January 2, 2025.
Joo Jong-hyuk will also be deeply involved with the siblings of the Shibuya family in the play, and play Oh Yoon-soo, a Korean young man who works for an investment company related to food and beverage, bringing the play to life.
Joo Jong-hyuk is looking forward to working with popular actors representing Japan, including Takako Matsuko, Mikako Tabe, Tori Matsuzaka, and Ken Hoshino.
Earlier, Joo Jong-hyuk raised his public profile by breaking down as Kwon Mo-sul-su Kwon Min-woo, a lawyer who does not do anything to solve the case in the drama "Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo," which drew attention around the world.
In particular, "Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo" ranked No. 1 on Netflix in Japan, and Joo Jong-hyuk, who raised his profile in Japan, held his first fan meeting in Japan in February last year.
