[Gyeonggi] Icheon City Commencement Ceremony for 'Transportation Plaza and Landscape Improvement' at Fountain Five-way Street

Icheon City completed the construction of the Fountain Five-way Intersection Traffic Plaza and the landscape improvement project and held a lighting ceremony.

The Fountain Five Way Street was decorated with three plazas, with the first square being a space symbolizing the future of Icheon, the second square being a space for citizens, such as busking performances, and the third square being a fountain and rest area symbolizing the image of the Fountain Five Way.

In particular, a coin tossing performance was held for the development of Icheon in the circular fountain built in the third square.

In the future, the coins collected in the fountains will be used as funds for the maintenance and citizens of the fountains.

Mayor Kim Kyung-hee said, "We will do our best to make it a sustainable city and a healthy self-sufficient city for future generations by creating a pleasant and symbolic space and a visiting urban attraction with the safety of citizens as the top priority through the Fountain Five Way Traffic Plaza and landscape improvement project."
