The Democratic Party's "Myeong Tae-kyun Gate Fact-Finding Team" made the claim based on the claim of Kang Hye-kyung, a former employee of the Korea Institute for Future Studies, that Myung's brother-in-law was hired at a local university student dormitory commissioned by the Gyeongnam Institute for Lifelong Education last year and that there was a request in the process.
