Man in 50s arrested at police station for stabbings

The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 50s who went on a rampage with a weapon at the police station.

A is suspected of wielding a weapon in front of the main building of Gangseo Police Station in Hwagok-dong, Seoul, at around 12:10 p.m. today (29th).

Mr. A reportedly called 112 at around 11:30 a.m., saying he would hurt himself, and then visited the police station, went on a rampage, and did not respond to police officers' restraint.

A was found to have been drinking, but no one was injured in the rampage.

The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident, including the motive of A's crime.
