Actor Soohyun Lee has secured his first drama appearance since his debut through the Coupang Play series "Family Planning."
The Coupang Play series "Family Plan," which will be released for the first time today (29th), is a story about a mother who has a special ability to edit memories freely and gives hell to villains by joining forces with her family.
Actors Ryu Seung-beom, Baek Yoon-sik, Romon, and Soohyun Lee herald unique fun with their strange family chemistry that they have never seen before, as well as merciless retribution for heinous crimes.
Soohyun Lee plays Baek Ji-woo, the daughter of Bae Doo-na and Ryu Seung-beom in the play, and is drawing attention as she has been named in the leading lineup, which works with senior actors representing Korea from her first debut. Baek Ji-woo is a 17-year-old girl with unusual visuals, sensitive personality, and a mysterious atmosphere, and Soohyun Lee is expected to add thrilling catharsis to the play by showing a variety of emotional passion as well as exhilarating action performances.
After about two years of being an idol trainee, Soohyun Lee debuted with ELLE KOREA in 2023 and has been attracting attention by traveling to various global fashion magazines, pictorials, and runway. With a unique trendy and dreamy atmosphere, he was selected as the main character of "Family Planning" after a fierce competition audition.
