Development of Safety Management System for Small Construction Workers

The Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation will develop a safety management system for workers working at small construction sites in the city and use it in earnest starting next year.

This system helps small construction sites easily implement legal obligations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and has functions such as risk assessment before work, daily safety checks, and analysis of results.

The corporation said it has tested the system at two Seoul construction sites over the past six months to verify its effectiveness, and said it will continue to use smart technology to realize more efficient and systematic safety management.
