A decision was made to make a correction regarding MBC's report in October that "YTN is passing the loss of its mobile gift certificate sales business to consumers."

According to the Media Arbitration Committee's mediation decision, MBC must publish a correction statement stating that YTN has not passed on the 12.3 billion won lost due to the "Timev incident" to consumers and that the refund process is underway.

The correction also included that YTN's full-time management has started a mobile gift certificate sales business and that the business has nothing to do with Eugene Corporation and YTN privatization.

YTN said the damage suffered to the company and its majority shareholders could not be recovered with a correction, but it accepted the adjustment to prevent further damage.
