From now on, we will start the briefing on the collapse accident located at 4924 Sinheung-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si.

Prior to the briefing, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to those who have lost their property and their home due to sudden accidents.

First, here's an overview of the accident.

At around 14:24 today, the first report was received that a two-story building located at 4924 Sinheung-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si had collapsed, and according to early witnesses, the building heard the sound of destruction.

When we arrived at the Shinheung 119 Safety Center, which was a first-come, first-served party, we heard the sound of the building's outside tilting and collapsing.

At the time of the accident, the building was empty without residents, and the stairs were severely twisted and there was no demand.

The exact cause of the accident will be confirmed later if there is anything confirmed under continuous investigation.I'll tell you about the status of

architecture.

It is a two-story building with a cement brick slab structure, with a one-story neighborhood living facility, a two-story house, and a building for stores.

It has a building area of 38.48 square meters and a building floor area of 64.69 square meters. The date of approval for use is October 28, 1976, which will be 48 years old.

At 14:30, Shinheung 119 Safety Center arrived at the site and controlled the surroundings, and notified the relevant agencies.

At 14:38, residents living in adjacent buildings on the left and right sides of the building were evacuated.

The building collapsed at 14:02 and the resident's safety was checked at 15:04 and transported safely.

Electricity and gas shut-off was completed at 16:06.

For your information, 7 people were induced to evacuate to a nearby building, and it was confirmed that they are currently living in a safe place.

I'll tell you about the number of people dispatched.

The total number of people dispatched will be 123, 69 firefighters, 54 related agencies, police, and city hall officials.

Thirty-two vehicles were dispatched, 16 fire vehicles and 16 related agencies were dispatched.
