Russian drone strikes damaged 13 homes in Ukraine's capital Kyiv and southern Odesa early Tuesday, killing one and injuring eight, local authorities said.
Ukraine's military said it shot down 88 of Russia's 132 drones overnight.
Around the same time, Ukrainian forces struck Atlas oil storage in the southern Russian port city of Rostov, sparking a fire.
Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry says it has shot down 10 U.S. long-range missiles launched by Ukraine over the past week.
Earlier, Russian President Putin said he would respond to such Ukrainian attacks with new missiles and was also considering government and military facilities in Kyiv as targets for bombing.
