The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said the low pressure that poured snow bombs fell to the northeast, but some areas in the west are expected to see light snow until early this morning due to the snow clouds remaining over the West Sea.
It added that the extreme cold is also expected to continue until this morning, the weekend, before rising temperatures during the day to restore normal temperatures.
This morning, most of the central regions, including -1 degrees Celsius in Seoul, -5 degrees Celsius in Paju, and -6 degrees Celsius in Daegwallyeong, are expected to hit below zero.
