The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the prosecution and the Board of Audit and Inspection for systematically resisting the impeachment of the head of the agency by disobeying the demands of the sovereign people and obeying only living power.

Kang Yoo-jung, a spokesman for the party, said in a written briefing that the prosecution and the Board of Audit and Inspection deceived the public and paid indulgence to numerous suspicions surrounding the first lady, including stock price manipulation, accepting luxury bags and relocating the presidential residence.

He then pointed out that when the prosecution and the Board of Audit and Inspection were in a position to be judged for impeachment, they violated their constitutional political neutrality obligations and were acting collectively prohibited by the National Public Officials Act.Spokesperson

Gang said he would not sit idly by the prosecution and the Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea, stressing that the Democratic Party will monitor the power organization so that it can be reborn as a volunteer of the people, not as a maid of power.
