Fire at a plastic wrapper manufacturing plant in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province

A fire broke out at around 9:40 a.m. today at a plastic wrapper manufacturing plant in Buki-myeon, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do.

The fire caused property damage estimated by the fire department of 140 million won, including one factory and a printing machine.

Fortunately, nine employees who were working were evacuated, so there were no casualties.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, which started in the printing press.
