On the occasion of International Palestinian Solidarity Day yesterday (November 30), protests were held around the world condemning Israel and calling for an end to the war in Gaza.

Hundreds gathered in London, England, to call for a ceasefire, while thousands marched through the streets in Rome, Italy, to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.

In Santiago, Chile, pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through the streets, calling for an end to the war and calling on the government to cut diplomatic ties with Israel.

At least 44,382 people have been killed in Gaza since the outbreak of the Gaza war in October last year.

The International Palestinian Solidarity Day was established in 1977 in honor of the 1947 UN General Assembly's approval of the Palestinian division of Arab and Jewish states.
