KAI-trained Polish Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Bartosz Gouwa said the FA-50 is pilot-friendly and agile, making it a very suitable model for young pilots to prepare for the future.
He then evaluated it as a very good fighter to cultivate the ability to operate other fighters such as F-16s and F-35s in the future.
Lt. Col. Gu and Lt. Col. are pilots who will drive FA-50s, which are scheduled to be delivered to Poland from next year to 2028, and have been flying training between South Korea and Poland for the past six months.
KAI signed a total of 48 FA-50 export contracts with Poland in July 2022 and is in the process of delivering them, with 12 already delivered, while the remaining 36 will be delivered from next year to 2028 in an enhanced version of aviation electronics equipment and armament.
