Recruitment of 1.09 million jobs for senior citizens 'the largest ever'

Next year's participants for 1.09 million jobs and social activity support projects for the elderly will be recruited from tomorrow to the 27th.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare said it will increase the number of jobs for the elderly by 60,000 from this year in consideration of the emergence of the "new elderly generation" with high levels of education and health, providing 1,098,000 jobs, the highest ever.

The recruitment types are divided into public type, social service type, and private type, and more than 690,000 public types will be provided to support income preservation for the vulnerable.
