In an emergency briefing, Secretary-General Choi is expected to repeatedly criticize the Democratic Party of Korea's impeachment of the Board of Audit and Inspection and refute allegations of poor audit of the presidential office from opposition parties.
Earlier on the 29th of last month, Choi expressed strong regret over the opposition's impeachment drive, calling it a political impeachment that undermines the basis of constitutional order.
The Board of Audit and Inspection officials also reportedly held an emergency meeting and agreed that the impeachment drive is unfair and that independence should be maintained.
