A 50-year-old fell and was seriously injured while climbing Samseongsan Mountain Rock in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.

At around 2:40 p.m. today, a man in his 50s who was rock climbing at Samsung Mountain in Seoksu-dong, Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, fell 5 meters down.

was taken to a hospital on a firefighting helicopter where Mr. A suffered severe head injuries in the accident.

Police and fire authorities believe that A climbed the mountain while drinking, and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
